Impressionistic Man

He leapt up and jumped over the moon
In a buggy he built one afternoon
He set off to conquer dust
And came home with a friend named Gus
This was the way he saw the world
His brain was pleasantly unfurled
So everyone thought him eccentric
Really he was just impressionistic
And now he’s in a nursing home
Passing time with a metronome
And one day soon he’ll pass away
And the world with be truly sad that day.
