Here Comes The Elephant

Here comes the elephant strolling along,
Large and enormous and terribly strong
And what runs in front? What can we see?
A small tiny mouse trying to be
Out of the way of the elephant’s feet
Pounding the footpath, shaking the ground
So run little mouse, scurry away,
Hide in the bushes, drop down a hole
Straight to your Mama where if you don’t mind
Could you please look and try to find
The way to the end of this story
For I’m having terrible trouble today
My rhyming is backwards and not going my way.
