Bird Above Sees All

Bird above sees all,
Fly’s west affected nil,
Children play in park,
Run home to dinner before dark,
Find mother crying in the corner,
Fathers gone to a gay sauna,
The neighbours house at 75 has burnt on down,
The tenant’s don’t know for they’re far across town
Hiding out from pervy old man Jones at 23
Who quietly contemplates his soul direction,
for he’s played out life as a chronic infection,
And then there’s sleepy Sue at 42
Wearing a white wedding gown everyday
Living a fantasy she’ll never get to play
And such is all that the bird does see,
Fly’s home for dinner, ever free.
