Tiny Triangles Of Toast

I think she’s got a crush on me
For she cut my toast into tiny triangles
And smiled at me deliciously
As she placed the plate in front of me
Then slowly backed away
But me I have a crush on him,
Sergeant pepper from the bay,
Sense of humour A-Okay,
Outlooks excellent all the way,
My dream boy of this day,
Perhaps she is my fantasy episode
To show me a little something new.
And I, her sweet interruption to a lonely existence
Perhaps he’ll understand and call
And give me what I long for
Perhaps it’ll all come round
Perhaps I’ll be the queen in two courts
Perhaps, perhaps, perhaps.
